Act Creation/Self Study
Act Creation is an opportunity for students enrolled in one other aerial course to take what they are learning in class and create their own act. Students will receive one on one attention from head instructor Lauren Charnow to work on transitions between tricks and link sequences together. Each class will focus on a different challenge to inspire creative movements. This is the perfect complement to regular courses if you are looking to take your training to the next level. This semester Act Creation will separate into two separate groups.
Students who have previously taken Act Creation or have experience with creating their own acts are invited to join the Act Creation Ensemble group. This group will create a cohesive group piece and explore making acts together. Performing in the final show is manditory for this group.
Students who are new to Act Creation are invited to do an indepth self discovery by creating their own piece. Performing in the final show is optional for solo working students.
Students will have the opportunity to perform their acts in showcases at the end of the session.
